BTS member Jungkook has achieved another historic milestone as his solo debut single “Seven” surpassed 1.3 billion plays on YouTube Music.
The achievement makes the 2023 release the first debut song by an Asian male artist to reach the mark on the platform, adding another major record to Jungkook’s growing list of solo accomplishments.
Since its release, “Seven” has continued to show strong global performance, attracting listeners from different parts of the world.
The song has remained a standout track in Jungkook’s solo career, with its success continuing across major streaming and video platforms.
The track also made history on Spotify, becoming the fastest and first song by an Asian artist to surpass 3.03 billion streams on the platform, IBT reported.
Its official music video has also gained more than 630 million views on YouTube, showing the lasting interest from fans worldwide.
BTS’ Jungkook Expands Record List
Jungkook’s achievements on YouTube Music extend beyond “Seven.” He became the first K-pop solo artist to have five songs each surpass 400 million plays on the platform.
The record-breaking tracks include “Seven,” “3D,” “Standing Next to You,” “Dreamers,” and “Left and Right.”
His solo catalog has continued to grow on the platform, with a total of eight songs reaching over 100 million plays on YouTube Music. Along with his five 400-million-play tracks, “Still With You,” “Stay Alive,” and “Hate You” have also reached the milestone.
Jungkook’s influence is also reflected in his YouTube presence. According to AllKPop, his YouTube Topic channel has gained 4.29 million subscribers, the highest number among K-pop solo artists.
Across 46 uploaded videos, the channel has collected more than 1.5 billion total views, highlighting the strong demand for his solo music.
The singer’s popularity has remained consistent beyond streaming numbers. In 2025, Jungkook ranked as the most searched male K-pop idol on YouTube worldwide for the fifth consecutive year, further showing his strong connection with global audiences.
