On August 7th, multiple media outlets reported that IU has subsequently deleted the song by her ex-boyfriend Jang Ki Ha as background music on her social media account. Speculation arose that IU deleted the background music out of consideration for Jang Ki Ha’s current girlfriend.
However, this is not true. As of the time of this article’s publish, IU’s social media still has Ki Ha & The Faces’ song “Living the Carefree Life” set as background music.
Due to some false reports, IU unexpectedly suffered backlash. Some netizens left malicious comments based on the false claim that she deleted the background music.
