“I hope she can still find joy…”
In 2025, many were shocked when KG, a former member of VCHA, announced her departure from the group and filed a lawsuit against JYP Entertainment’s U.S. branch, alleging abuse.
The girl group VCHA was formed through the survival show A2K (America2Korea), which featured J.Y. Park forming a girl group trained under the K-Pop system. Along with the abuse allegations, KG claimed that a member was driven to a suicide attempt, which many believed to be Kaylee based on the timing of her hiatus, though this has never officially been stated.
VCHA has since reorganized as a four-member group called GIRLSET following Kaylee’s announced departure in July 2025.

Kaylee has been active on social media since then, but a recent update has gone viral amongst netizens.
The street crew I Love Dance NYC shared a dance cover of “Iconic By Mistake” by LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and KATSEYE on August 31.
Those watching the cover, were quick to point out Kaylee was included in the dance, confirmed with posts on her social media account that she was invited to do so.

Some commented their mixed emotions, including sadness over Kaylee’s journey with VCHA ending the way it did. Some were also happy to see her enjoying herself, commenting that she looks healthy.

Kaylee actually made her solo debut in August 2025 with “Cotton Candy,” which you can check out below.
