Fans are considering legal action against the organizer.
On September 4, aespa kicked off the Latin American leg of their SYNK : COMPLæXITY world tour at the Mercado Livre Arena Pacaembu in São Paulo, Brazil.

Previously, we covered the reaction to the concert’s “empty” appearance.

Now, another aspect of the show has sparked outrage online, and gone viral.
For aespa’s concert, the highest tiers of tickets included VIP perks like exclusive merchandise and earlier entry. Also included in the highest tier was an “exclusive invitation to the post-show aespa send-off event.”

For other groups, including those under SM Entertainment, send off usually includes a short meet & greet, during which the idols will slowly walk by, usually signing items at least and responding to questions.
@adrianoysters pls ignore the bad angles of me lol 🤣 omg honestly send off wasn’t fair to everyone there but I got pics with 4 members I am d e a d and I asked Johnny a bowling question 💀 #nct127 #nct #johnnysuh #kpop #sendoff
However, for aespa’s event, according to fans, the group simply walked by while waving.

The price of this ticket was said to be around 2,689 Brazilian Real (around 524 USD), and more expensive than the aespa “hi-bye” ticket that was also made available to fans.

As a result, many fans expressed disappointment in the treatment of fans, citing other instances fans in Latin America have been treated differently.

Guys, we paid 3k for the send-off, only to stand out in the blazing sun and then get rained on for the entire show, just to receive less than a hi-bye. And that’s not even the worst part—I swear, we got 10 seconds of them simply walking past us. I can’t even call that an interaction, honestly.
And hearing that it was possibly their decision hurts so much.

VIP without soundcheck and with ridiculous, seriously amateur photocards
A MUCH smaller stage
Upper-level seats and regular floor tickets basically having to pray they could see anything, even on the screens
3 fewer songs
Send-off? LMAOOOOYeah, SM. Congratulations. Next time, just say, ‘We don’t want to take aespa’s tour to Brazil.’ Just say it.

That’s terrible, the way Koreans view people from Latin America. They really sell tickets at exorbitant prices only to treat us like savages afterward, with experiences that aren’t worth that kind of money. They’re so xenophobic, and at this point they don’t even try to hide it anymore.

Fans also discussed the gifts given to VIP, stating that they looked bad and that the merch for the show in the Brazil overall was not up to standards. It was also mentioned that the group performed three fewer songs, and that there was poor visibility for those in certain sections.
