On September 3, Kwak Si-yang’s agency 9ato Entertainment and Yoo Ji-ae’s agency KPLUS announced that the couple will tie the knot in November. The wedding will be held privately with only close friends and family members in attendance.

According to an earlier report by Edaily, the two naturally met, fell in love, and eventually decided to take their relationship to marriage.
Amid the marriage announcement, Kwak Si-yang’s past dating history has also come back into the spotlight. In the past, he appeared on ETN Entertainment Channel’s Beautiful Boys Island, hosted by Kim Ki-soo.

The show was a reality program in which one woman went on dates with six handsome college students, eliminating the young man she liked least in each episode. The final contestant chosen by the woman received a prize of 10 million won. At the time, Kwak Si-yang appeared on the program under the stage name Han Sun-woo.
During the show, Kwak Si-yang opened up about his dating history, claiming that he had dated more than 100 women, saying, “I’ve gone past the number that can fit on one plate.” His bold and straightforward personality also drew considerable attention from viewers.

Born in 1987 and now 39 years old, Kwak Si-yang made his acting debut in the 2014 film Night Flight. He has since delivered performances in films such as The Witness and dramas including Oh My Ghost, Alice, Lovers of the Red Sky, Flex X Cop, Good Partner, Love Scout, and My Dearest Nemesis. Kwak Si-yang is also set to appear as Seo Joo-hyuk, the representative attorney of Jaegang Law Firm, in KBS2’s A Love Other Than Yours, which is scheduled to premiere on September 12.
Yoo Ji-ae, who is set to marry Kwak Si-yang, debuted in 2014 as a member of the eight-member girl group Lovelyz. The group was loved for hit songs including “Ah-Choo,” “Destiny,” and “Hi~.” Yoo Ji-ae later transitioned into acting, appearing in dramas such as The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop, Real-Life Dating 101, and My Best Friend’s Little Brother.
