A fan reportedly had a shocking bowel accident while waiting to see SEVENTEEN‘s Mingyu at a promotional event in Hong Kong.

Mingyu attended an event at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui on July 11. According to local reports, more than 500 fans had already started lining up outside the shopping mall by midnight, with many choosing to wait overnight for a chance to see the idol.

Videos shared online showed long lines stretching along the street outside the venue. Many fans came prepared with folding stools, handheld fans, and other supplies for the long wait, while staff remained on site to manage the crowd.

One fan told local media that she had been supporting SEVENTEEN for nearly six years. After seeing on Instagram that Mingyu would be attending the event, she arrived at around 8 AM, hoping to see him, but could only find a spot on the second floor.
According to those at the venue, an unexpected incident happened while fans were waiting to enter the mall. A fan was suspected of having a bowel accident while standing in line. Those nearby, including staff members, reportedly used air freshener to mask the smell.
Some posts on Threads also suggest that there might have been a diaper involved.

I was across from that! They were on the 3rd floor, I knew someone in that section. When it happened, there were 2 girls who were trying to spray their own perfume and using their pickets to help everyone. Security helped them a while later cause they finally smelled it 💀
