Actor Lee Dong Wook candidly revealed his thoughts on an ideal wife, drawing attention.
On July 11th, the tvN show Goblin 10th Anniversary Trip aired, featuring the cast of the drama “Goblin” — Gong Yoo, Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, Yoo In Na, Kim Byung Chul, Lee El, and Park Kyung Hye — reminiscing over memorable scenes.
In a game segment, a scene was shown where Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) asks Kim Shin (Gong Yoo), “Which style do you prefer: a devoted wife, sexy, or a professional?”
After correctly guessing the line, the cast was asked about their actual preferences. Lee Dong Wook said, “I like someone with a professional career,” adding, “More than the job itself, I find it attractive when someone is passionate and dedicated to their work.”
Yoo In Na then posed a question, asking, “Would you choose someone who has a job but little income, or someone who is financially comfortable but doesn’t have a special profession?”
Without hesitation, Lee Dong Wook replied, “Money isn’t important.” When Yoo In Na followed up, “What if the person keeps spending your money?” he said, “That’s fine. I have enough,” which impressed the cast.
Yoo In Na responded, “That’s cool,” and the scene was filled with laughter.
Meanwhile, Gong Yoo chose “devoted wife” as his ideal type, while Kim Byung Chul answered “sexy” without hesitation, causing everyone to burst into laughter. Yoo In Na expressed surprise that all three had different preferences, and Lee Dong Wook cleverly quipped, “Good thing none of them overlap,” making the atmosphere even more enjoyable.
