Chaeyoung shared a photo of herself with an over-the-shoulder view, showing herself doodling. However, in the background of the image, many couldn’t help but notice what appeared to be a vape.
It is less common for female idols to be caught with smoking productions, so there were many reactions, of which a large majority defended the idol.

Recently, the “scandal” was revisited by the idol herself during a variety appearance.
Chaeyoung and Nagyung are scheduled to be the next guests on The Trueman Show, interviewed by host Lee Yong Jin.
During the preview of their episode, Chaeyoung brought up her vape, telling Lee that she uploaded a photo and the vape was caught in the background. She added a new detail, however, saying that it led to her being reached out to.
I posted a photo, and an e-cigarette happened to be in it. After that, the company that made that e-cigarette kept reaching out to me repeatedly.
