JISOO has released “CLICK,” introducing her latest solo chapter with a music video that turns an abandoned amusement park into the setting for an unlikely friendship.
The BLACKPINK singer released the single September 4 through Warner Records. Its accompanying video was directed by Joseph Kahn, whose previous collaborators include Taylor Swift, Britney Spears and Eminem.
JISOO plays a solitary cyborg still performing routine tasks inside the deserted park. She tears tickets and maintains its pathways despite the absence of visitors, until discovering a damaged robotic teddy bear gives her someone to care for.
After she repairs the bear, the pair begins restoring life to the surroundings, reactivating attractions and awakening forgotten toys. That Eric Alper’s release coverage describes the character, known as the Click Bear, as representing JISOO’s fans and their connection across different languages and backgrounds.
The story gives a physical form to the song’s central theme: finding someone with whom a connection feels immediate, even when the differences between them seem considerable. The park’s transformation follows the cyborg’s movement from isolation toward companionship.
Musically, “CLICK” explores attraction complicated by hesitation. LOS40’s release-day coverage describes a pop song built around the tension between protecting oneself emotionally and accepting a connection that is difficult to resist. The outlet also identifies the release as a preview of JISOO’s forthcoming first full-length solo album.
The new single follows Amortage, her 2025 EP featuring “Earthquake” and “Your Love,” and “Eyes Closed,” her collaboration with Zayn. Those releases expanded a solo catalog that began with the 2023 single album Me and its lead track, “Flower.”
The album preview gives listeners another piece of that developing catalog, though the reporting reviewed for this release does not establish a title, tracklist or release date for the full-length project.
