BTS received a special welcome from Maryland Governor Wes Moore ahead of the group’s two-night concert run at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Moore shared a short video message on social media on August 10, greeting the seven BTS members and their fans before the group took the stage. The video also included Korean subtitles, making the message easier for BTS fans to follow.
In the clip, Moore highlighted the message behind BTS and what the group has achieved together. According to AllKPop, he praised RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook for bringing people together despite differences in culture, location, and language.
“The seven members share one goal: to overcome the barriers of different cultures, regions, and languages and unite the world as one,” Moore said.
The governor then welcomed the group directly to Baltimore and gave a special shoutout to ARMY, BTS’ global fanbase.
“Welcome to Baltimore. And to all ARMY, shout out loud,” Moore said.
BTS Begins Two-Night Baltimore Stop
Moore’s message arrived as BTS began its Baltimore stop on the “ARIRANG” World Tour. The group is scheduled to perform at M&T Bank Stadium on August 10 and 11, giving local fans two chances to see the full seven-member lineup.
The Baltimore venue is home to the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens and is one of the major stadium stops on BTS’ North American tour.
According to Billboard, the concerts follow the group’s recent performances at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
The “ARIRANG” tour marks BTS’ return to large stadium shows as all seven members perform together. The tour includes shows across several regions, with the group set to continue its North American run after Baltimore before moving to other parts of the world later in 2026 and into 2027.
The governor’s video also stood out because it was clearly made with BTS fans in mind. Along with the Korean subtitles, Moore named each member individually before turning his attention to ARMY.
BTS’ Baltimore shows come as the group continues promoting its 10th studio album, ARIRANG.
