On August 29, Tablo said, “I want to apologize to my fans. We’ve started the ‘Epikase Song Battle,’ a 1:1:1 solo competition on Epik High’s YouTube channel. The finals are next week. I feel really sorry to all the Team Tablo fans who support me, but I don’t think I can win.”
He continued, “I thought this was just going to be a fun competition with my members, but I didn’t realize that one of them was a complete sociopath. He’s mobilizing more than half of the K-pop industry right now and creating something so huge that I don’t even know whether to call it a song or an awards ceremony.”
Tablo also explained, “I thought I’d have an advantage on social media because that’s where I’m strong, so I figured I wouldn’t fall behind there. But I can’t beat him. He’s crazy. When I post something, I at least think about the design and things like that. On top of that, we were told that we were going to have some kind of overseas Polaroid event, so they asked us to take photos.”

He added, “While we were taking the photos, I realized it. ‘Ah, he lied to us and made us do this because he needs the photos for some kind of giveaway.’ He’s insane. I just can’t beat him. Still, I’m hoping for a good result next week. See you Thursday on Epikase.”
Tablo had planned to hold a song battle featuring the members on the YouTube channel he runs, but Tukutz has apparently entered the competition seriously, leaving Tablo admitting that he has little confidence in coming out on top.
