On August 14, the YouTube channel “Zip Daesung” released a video titled “Zip Daesung Ep. 119 Stray Kids (Lee Know, Hyunjin, Han).” Stray Kids members Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Han appeared on the show and shared stories with host Daesung.
While looking back at old footage, the members revisited a moment from the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon, when the Stray Kids members could be seen walking around the stage and searching the floor.
What the members were looking for at the time was Hyunjin’s earring. Explaining what happened, Hyunjin said, “I lost a Cartier earring while performing.”
The earring was reportedly worth around 80 million won and was a sponsored item rather than Hyunjin’s personal property. That meant he could have been responsible for covering the cost if the accessory was never recovered. Once the other members realized what had happened, they also joined the search while still on stage.
Hyunjin recalled thinking, “Wow, this is really bad.” He explained that Stray Kids were performing shortly before the ending lineup, meaning other artists were scheduled to take the stage afterward. Because of the tight schedule, he eventually went back on stage believing there was little chance they would find the missing earring.
Just when the situation seemed hopeless, Felix came to Hyunjin’s rescue. Hyunjin said that the members continued searching together, and Felix suddenly spotted something sparkling on the floor. He immediately ran over, picked it up, and recovered the earring.
Hyunjin’s history of losing things did not end with that incident. He admitted that he frequently misplaces his belongings, saying that sometimes items seem to completely disappear. He even revealed that he had lost his wallet multiple times and had to replace the necessary cards and documents around eight times, leaving Daesung stunned.
His repeated mishaps have led Hyunjin to develop his own strategy for dealing with lost belongings. He explained that he keeps his bank’s automated telephone service number saved in his phone so that he can immediately contact the bank whenever he loses something.
Daesung then shared his own method for preventing misplaced belongings. He said he has his clothes customized to suit his personal habits. When buying pants, for example, he has additional pockets placed exactly where he wants them and decides in advance what should go into each pocket. This allows him to keep his belongings in consistent locations regardless of what he wears.
Hyunjin responded that he carries different bags depending on the day, prompting Daesung to acknowledge that his system might not work for someone who enjoys changing up their fashion. Hyunjin eventually joked, “I think I haven’t been losing things lately. Maybe I’m becoming an adult,” making everyone laugh.
