Recently, TXT’s Soobin was the target of allegedly “explicit gay deepfake” photos, and fans demanded that his agency, HYBE, take action. At first, HYBE continued the promotions for TXT’s next release without addressing the allegations surrounding Soobin. Since then, Soobin’s members have seemingly addressed the issue during a live broadcast, and BIGHIT Music has released a statement. In it, the agency said, “Until now, we refrained from issuing announcements or comments to prevent false rumors from being unnecessarily amplified by official statements.” Despite this, the situation has continued to escalate, with some people planning a funeral wreath protest directed at Soobin.
