A press screening for the film Final Interview was held on the afternoon of October 28 at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Kim Jung-hoon and actors Jo Yi-hyun, Kim Jae-won, Kang Yoo-seok, and Bae Kang-hee attended the event to discuss the film.
Jo Yi-hyun named a character she would like to play among the roles she has not taken on, saying, “I’m drawn to the intense roles Shin Seung-ho has played because I don’t think I could pull them off myself.”
Jo Yi-hyun explained the efforts the cast made to build chemistry, saying, “Since this is a project where ensemble work is important, we did a lot of rehearsals before filming. I had individual readings with the director, readings among the actors, and even rehearsed before the sets were completed. We prepared as if we were practicing for a play.”
Regarding her fresh, youthful romance with Kim Jae-won, Jo Yi-hyun expressed her gratitude, saying, “I personally really enjoyed it. Even though he’s younger than me, he took great care of me, and even though I’m quite shy around people I don’t know well, he approached me first. The more challenging the scenes were, the more we talked.”
Final Interview is a film about six applicants who gather for a final job interview and discover mysterious envelopes containing revelations about each of them, leading them to suspect one another and fall into confusion. The film will be released on November 4.
