Actress Park Eun Bin is set to showcase a dramatic transformation in tvN’s upcoming weekend drama Spooky in Love, taking over a role originally made famous by Son Ye Jin.
The new drama is based on the 2011 hit film Spellbound starring Son Ye Jin and Lee Min Ki.
Scheduled to premiere on July 18 at 9:10 PM KST, the series combines romance and occult elements in a story about a chaebol heiress who can see ghosts and a passionate prosecutor who fears them more than anything.

Park Eun Bin stars as Cheon Yeo Ri, the CEO of Reina Hotel and the only blood-related heir to a powerful conglomerate chairman.
Blessed with beauty, wealth, and intelligence, Cheon Yeo Ri is known as a powerful figure in the corporate succession battle. However, she deliberately distances herself from others and has earned the nickname “the hidden princess” within business circles.
Newly released still cuts showcase the actress embodying the cold and elegant aura of the mysterious heiress. Even while dressed in luxurious outfits, the character is consistently seen wearing gloves and avoiding physical contact with others.

The drama reveals that Cheon Yeo Ri’s isolated lifestyle stems from a supernatural secret.
Not only can she see ghosts, but she can also hear their voices. Additionally, anyone she touches gains the ability to see spirits as well, giving her a unique and dangerous supernatural power.
As curiosity grows over how she acquired these abilities, viewers are also anticipating the emotional story behind her decision to cut herself off from relationships and romance.

Following acclaimed performances in dramas such as Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Castaway Diva, Park Eun Bin is once again drawing attention for taking on a completely different character style.
Many viewers are already expressing excitement over her transformation into a glamorous yet emotionally distant chaebol heiress with supernatural abilities.
With its mix of romance, mystery, horror, and high-society intrigue, Spooky in Love is shaping up to be one of tvN’s most anticipated dramas of the summer season.
