On November 4, Haewon appeared on the YouTube channel “Hyo’s Level Up,” where she filmed content alongside Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon. For the occasion, she wore a thin long-sleeved top layered under a sleeveless shirt, paired with a midi-length skirt. In the video, Haewon looked so slender that her clothes appeared loose whenever she moved.
Fans who watched the video left comments expressing concern, including, “She was beautiful even before losing weight, so I just hope she takes care of her health,” “I hope she eats a little more,” and “She looks way too thin.” Haewon had already attracted attention for appearing slimmer than before ahead of NMIXX‘s recent comeback and award ceremony schedules. Some fans also expressed sadness while comparing her current appearance with older photos in which her fuller cheeks were more noticeable.

Her changed appearance also became a topic of discussion in another video released last month. On October 22, Haewon appeared on the YouTube channel “LookSam” alongside fellow member Lily, where she talked about her ideal image. “Lately, I keep hearing people say, ‘You’re 25 now,’ so the image I’m going for is that of a mature woman,” she said. “In the past, I wanted to give off a completely sultry, hip-hop kind of vibe, but people often told me that it really didn’t suit me.” She then mentioned Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, explaining, “There are people who like senior artist Yuri’s mature-woman image.”

The comment section of that video was also filled with messages from fans concerned about Haewon’s health. Alongside supportive remarks such as “I hope she stays healthy” and “I hope she takes good care of herself,” some viewers pointed out that comments about missing her old appearance could also hurt her feelings. “Even saying that you miss her previous look can hurt the person herself. If you’re a fan, you should love her just as much, whether it’s her past or present appearance,” one comment read.

However, Haewon has not made any specific comments about the reason for her weight change, her diet, or her exercise routine. It is difficult to determine whether she has lost weight or what may have caused the change based on her appearance alone. NMIXX, who debuted in 2022, have released songs including “O.O,” “DICE,” and “DASH.”
