Businessman Mario Ho and supermodel Ming Xi held their second wedding celebration in Macau on September 28.
According to Sin Chew, the couple hosted the wedding banquet at the Grand Lisboa hotel in Macau to thank family members and friends who were unable to attend their wedding in France in June.

Previously, on June 1, the couple held a private wedding ceremony at Château Saint-Michel in France.

For the Macau celebration, Ming Xi wore the same satin Dior wedding gown she had worn at their ceremony in France, pairing it with a diamond necklace, while Mario Ho once again opted for a dark-colored suit.

The venue was decorated around an “autumn oil painting” theme, with tens of thousands of flowers creating a fairytale-like setting.

During his speech at the banquet, Mario Ho humorously commented on their height difference. “Everyone can see that I’m half a head shorter than her, yet I still worked so hard to pursue her. From dating to getting married and having children, and now finally holding our wedding celebration, I’m truly grateful for everything,” he said.

He then looked back on their journey from dating to marriage and parenthood, expressing his gratitude to Ming Xi for her companionship and support throughout the years.

Mario Ho is the son of late Macau casino tycoon Stanley Ho and businesswoman Angela Leong, who was ranked as Hong Kong’s 24th-richest person with a fortune of $4.2 billion, according to Forbes figures cited in the report. Known for his talent in mathematics, Mario twice won first prize in Hong Kong mathematics competitions and also participated in several international contests. At 18, he reportedly received admission offers from both Oxford University in the UK and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), ultimately choosing MIT. He now runs his own business.

Ming Xi is six years older than Mario Ho. Born in Shanghai, she studied fashion design in her hometown and graduated in 2017. She became one of China’s most internationally recognized models, working with luxury brands including Alexander Wang, Balmain, Burberry, Dior, Lanvin and Louis Vuitton, while also becoming a Victoria’s Secret model. She has millions of followers on Instagram.
