Actor Lee Yong Joo has passed away at the age of 44.
According to an exclusive report from Star Daily News, Lee Yong Joo passed away suddenly on August 29. The cause of death was reported as a heart attack. In addition, his friend posted in the comments of his most recent Instagram post from December 2025, sharing the details of his funeral.
I would like to notify you that my friend Lee Yong Joo suddenly passed away. The funeral hall will be held at the Bundang Jesaeng Hospital hall 5.
