LE SSERAFIM has released Made My Night, bringing the group back into the Overwatch universe for a new collaboration that combines music, choreography and an animated escape story.
The second single album arrived September 11 at 1 p.m. KST, following the music video’s midnight KST premiere. For U.S. fans, the video debuted at 11 a.m. ET on September 10, while the album followed at midnight ET on September 11. The separate release times were listed in the group’s official promotional schedule.
The release contains the title track and “AEIOU,” which also appears on SOURCE MUSIC’s official audio upload.
“Made My Night” brings together contributors including Riley McDonough, Connor McDonough, Ryan Daly and Justin Tranter. Its pop-dance direction centers on attraction and the excitement of finding a connection with someone.
The video opens with the members at a press conference before looking back at the events that brought them there. Live-action scenes alternate with animation as the group becomes caught in a captivity-and-escape storyline involving Overwatch characters D.Va and D.Mon.
The project follows LE SSERAFIM’s 2023 collaboration with the game on “Perfect Night.” Their return gives the partnership a new song and story while retaining the combination of group performance and gaming animation.
The collaboration will also move onto a live stage. LE SSERAFIM is scheduled to headline BlizzCon’s closing performance on September 13, where “Made My Night” is set to receive its live debut, according to The Music Universe.
That appearance follows the group’s performance at BlizzCon in 2023 and gives fans an early opportunity to see how the new release translates beyond its music video.
