Singer Kwon Eunbi spoke about the difficulties she faced prior to her debut in the entertainment industry.
On September 25th, the Club Goksori episode featuring Kwon Eunbi was released on the band Jaurim’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Kwon Eunbi confessed how she nurtured her dream of becoming a singer. She recalled, “In elementary school, during a field trip talent show, I felt exhilarated seeing my friends cheer for me.”
However, she faced opposition from her parents and was able to continue only with the help of her older brother under financially tight circumstances.
Kwon Eunbi expressed gratitude, saying, “He is one year older than me but supported me a lot at such a young age.” She added, “I’ve tried every part-time job out there. After struggling once, since I was already an adult, asking for help felt even more burdensome.”
After debuting with IZ*ONE and successfully going solo, Kwon Eunbi said, “My parents are very happy now. IZ*ONE did so well and appeared on TV so often that they proudly showed me off,” and shared that she gives them allowance money.
