KATSEYE released its third EP, “WILD,” on Friday, Aug. 14, through HYBE x Geffen Records. The group also performed the same day at Rockefeller Center in New York City as part of NBC’s “TODAY” Citi Concert Series.
UPI reported that the performance drew one of the largest crowds in the concert series’ history. During the outdoor set, KATSEYE performed “Hootie Frutti” and “PINKY UP” from the new EP, along with “Gabriela,” a song from the group’s 2025 EP “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS.”
The performance featured Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeong. UPI reported that the group’s setlist also included “Animal,” another track from “WILD.”
“WILD” is now available to stream and purchase. The standard version includes five songs: “PINKY UP,” “Animal,” “Hootie Frutti,” “Bel Air” and “That Way,” according to KATSEYE’s official tracklist.
Target and select international retailer editions include the bonus track “Unloveu,” which was written and produced by Lara Raj with Amy Allen and Ross Golan.
The EP also includes “Animal,” which was co-written by Ed Sheeran. The song debuted at No. 4 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA chart. Its official music video, directed by Cody Critcheloe, features actress Demi Moore.
The “TODAY” appearance also brought attention to KATSEYE’s current promotional lineup. Sophia Laforteza recently stepped away from activities to prioritize her mental health, while Manon Bannerman has been on a break since February.
During the segment, Lara Raj spoke about the group’s support for both members.
“As KATSEYE, it’s so important to us to always prioritize our well-being. We stand by Sophia and Manon through and through. We ride for them,” Raj said, according to UPI.
“WILD” follows KATSEYE’s debut EP, “SIS (Soft Is Strong),” released in 2024, and its second EP, “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,” released in 2025. “BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,” which included “Gabriela,” debuted in the top five of the Billboard 200.
The new project marks KATSEYE’s latest era as the HYBE x Geffen group continues expanding its global pop audience through new music, live performances and international promotions.
