The former girlfriend of actor Hong Min-gi, identified as A, has deleted the Instagram account she had been using to publicly discuss allegations surrounding their past relationship. He said A had regained consciousness and was able to communicate by August 25, but was still suffering from significant psychological distress and required treatment and rest.
He also denied reports that A had caused a disturbance and subsequently written a statement at a local police station. “Please refrain from speculative comments so that my sister can recover her health.” Her brother also asked the public to avoid spreading speculation about her condition.
A’s hospitalization follows a series of public allegations she made against Hong Min-gi. On August 19, A publicly shared a certified letter sent to Hong Min-gi and his agency warning of potential legal action over what she described as illegal conduct.
