Jessie Cave recently appeared on the British ITV program This Morning and explained why she decided to join OnlyFans. “People think I’m rich and have loads of money. But no. That’s not the case for me,” she said, explaining that she has not enjoyed financial security despite appearing in the Harry Potter franchise.
Cave played Ron Weasley’s girlfriend Lavender Brown in the final three Harry Potter films. However, she said that most of her subsequent acting roles were relatively small, while raising four children made it difficult to maintain a stable income.

“It was embarrassing in a way because I really wanted to get a proper job. But you know what it’s like when you have children. Childcare is really expensive,” she said.
Cave, who shares four children with comedian Alfie Brown, has worked in various fields while maintaining an acting career for 18 years. However, she said she reached a point several years ago when she no longer knew how she would make ends meet, eventually considering OnlyFans as a new option.
Cave launched her OnlyFans account in March last year. However, rather than producing the adult content commonly associated with the platform, she creates content centered around hair. She initially hesitated to join but began attracting subscribers after posting videos of herself brushing and braiding her hair.

Her earnings have also exceeded her expectations. Earlier this month, Cave revealed that she made £15,000 (approximately 28 million KRW) in a single day. In a previous interview with a British media outlet, she also said that the money she earned from OnlyFans in one year exceeded what she had made from acting over an entire year.
Charging subscribers $6 a month, Cave described the income as having “really saved the family.” She initially planned to earn enough money to support herself for several months while giving herself time to figure out her future plans. However, the platform grew more successful than expected and has now also helped her continue her artistic work.

Cave said her OnlyFans career has benefited her not only financially but also emotionally. She has been able to communicate with people from around the world and said the experience has “definitely helped me feel more confident as a woman.”
She described her content as “artistic and interesting,” adding, “This is how I make a living as an artist.” Cave continues to perform one-woman shows and other creative projects, with her OnlyFans income helping her maintain her artistic career.
OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform where creators can upload photos, videos and other content and earn money through subscribers. In addition to Cave, various celebrities have opened accounts on the platform, while singer Jay Park also made headlines after launching his own account.
