EXO member D.O. and his agency, Blitzway Entertainment, have announced that they are taking strong legal action against individuals accused of spreading harmful online content targeting the artist.
On August 5, Blitzway Entertainment revealed through its official social media channels that it has been closely monitoring online communities, social media platforms, and other websites for posts that violate the rights of its artists, including D.O.
The agency said it discovered multiple cases involving false information, defamation, insults, malicious attacks, sexual harassment, and privacy violations.
In response, Blitzway confirmed that it has begun pursuing both civil and criminal legal action against those responsible. The company also warned that deleting posts or making accounts private will not prevent legal consequences.
Blitzway explained that it has already collected evidence and will continue with legal procedures based on the available information, ShiningAwards reported.
The agency added that hiding behind anonymous accounts will not protect offenders because their identities can be discovered through legal processes.

Blitzway Entertainment encouraged fans to report any harmful content involving D.O. and said it will continue working to protect the artist’s reputation and personal rights.
According to AllKPop, the agency also stated that it will take a firm approach moving forward, including refusing settlements or showing leniency to those who engage in malicious activities.
The agency’s announcement highlights its continued effort to address online attacks against D.O. as the singer and actor remains active in entertainment. D.O. participated in EXO’s eighth full-length album, REVERXE, released in January, and is currently joining the group’s sixth world tour, “EXO PLANET.”
He also recently appeared on the variety program “Kong Kong Farm” and is preparing for his voice acting role in the upcoming animated film “Free Dogs,” which is scheduled to be released on August 19.
While online criticism and discussions are common for public figures, Blitzway Entertainment said it will not ignore actions that cross legal boundaries.
