According to a September 10 report by Korea Economic TV, Byeon Woo Seok purchased a 235㎡ unit at the high-end Hannam The Hill complex in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, for 13 billion won in May. He completed the final payment and officially transferred ownership on September 2.
Given that no separate mortgage lien was registered on the property, it is presumed that the actor paid for the residence entirely in cash.
Hannam The Hill is an ultra-luxury residential complex developed in 2011 on the former Hannam-dong campus site of Dankook University. The complex is reportedly home to several celebrities and prominent figures from the political and business worlds, including actor So Ji Sub and broadcaster Lee Young Ja.
Byeon Woo Seok, who began his career as a model, transitioned into acting through tvN’s drama “Dear My Friends” in 2016. After gaining recognition through projects including tvN’s “Record of Youth,” KBS 2TV’s “Moonshine,” and JTBC’s “Strong Girl Nam Soon,” he achieved explosive, syndrome-level popularity with tvN’s “Lovely Runner” in 2024.
He is currently busy filming Netflix’s upcoming series “Solo Leveling.” He is also meeting fans around the world through his “2026 Byeon Woo Seok Asia Fan Meeting Tour: The Secret Library.”
