Global pop star Bruno Mars, who is scheduled to perform in Korea in 2027, has publicly proposed a duet stage with BLACKPINK member Rosé.
Recently, a video titled “Went to Bruno Mars’ [The Romantic] Tour and brought back news of the 2027 Korea concert” was uploaded on the YouTube channel 14F MBC.
The video shows the production team interviewing Bruno Mars in New Jersey, the site of his stadium tour in the U.S. Bruno Mars spoke about his first solo full-length album in 10 years, “The Romantic,” saying, “It’s made up of very romantic songs. It talks about the good and bad sides of love,” and added, “I will perform live in Korea,” raising expectations.
When asked about a special stage for the Seoul tour, he replied, “I want to perform on stage again with Rosé.” He then sent a surprise invite, saying, “Rosé, are you listening? Are you watching? What should I do to perform ‘APT’ with you in Korea? It will be a very meaningful moment.”
He also expressed some disappointment, saying, “I don’t know if it will be possible. Rosé has gotten really expensive lately. She hasn’t been answering my calls these days.”
Earlier, in October 2024, Rosé and Bruno Mars released the duet song “APT,” which received worldwide love. “APT” reached number 3 on the U.S. Billboard main chart Hot 100.They also performed the opening stage together at the 68th Grammy Awards.
Bruno Mars will hold his Bruno Mars – The Romantic Tour concert at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, on May 21, 22, 25, and 26, 2027. This will be about four years since his solo concert in Korea in 2023.
Given that Bruno Mars personally proposed the duet stage to Rosé, attention is focused on whether the two will reunite on stage during this upcoming Korea visit.
