On April 22, tvN unveiled a teaser video introducing the main cast of its new variety program Kill It: The Style Creator War (hereafter Kill It).
Set to premiere on May 12, Kill It is a fashion creator survival show aimed at discovering the next generation of figures who will lead K-fashion trends. It is CJ ENM’s first fashion-themed variety program in 10 years, following past fashion survival shows such as Challenge! Supermodel Korea and Project Runway Korea.
The program follows 100 creators from the fashion scene as they compete fiercely for the one and only title of style icon. The teaser featured seven label leaders, and among them was Kim Ji Yoon, known as Jisoo’s older sister.

Kim Ji Yoon, who is active as an influencer, previously appeared on ENA’s seller survival show Super Seller and became known to viewers. Living up to her nickname “Gunpo’s Han Hyo Joo,” she drew attention in the teaser with her striking beauty.
However, because the release of Kill It comes amid the private life controversy surrounding Jisoo’s family, the teaser has sparked mixed reactions online.
Recently, Jisoo became embroiled in controversy due to the private life scandal involving her older brother, identified as Mr. A. Mr. A, who sparked the controversy, was arrested on the 13th on charges of attempting inappropriate physical contact with a female BJ, but the prosecution rejected the request for a detention warrant. Since then, suspicions have continued after an internet user claiming to be Mr. A’s wife posted additional allegations online.
As it became known that Mr. A was a relative of a famous girl group member, the controversy grew larger. As the situation escalated, BLISSOO, Jisoo’s agency, released an official statement through its legal representative on the 20th, saying that Jisoo had no connection to the recent controversy. The explanation stated that Jisoo had lived independently from her family since her trainee days and was in no position to know about or be involved in that individual’s private life.

In particular, Jisoo had already become independent from her former agency YG Entertainment and established her own one-person agency, BLISSOO. The agency also firmly denied suspicions that Mr. A had been involved in BLISSOO’s management. Jisoo’s side stated, “He provided limited advice during the establishment process, but did not receive compensation or participate in decision-making,” and added that they would pursue civil and criminal action against the spread of rumors and false information.
