On October 24, a video titled “Surprise Running Vlog: Getting the Princess Who Ate Han Jeong-seon to Exercise (with AKMU’s Su-hyun)” was uploaded to the YouTube channel Mung Coach.
While heading out for a run with her trainer, Lee Su-hyun brought up her review of Han Jeong-seon, saying, “Everyone, Han Jeong-seon was delicious.” A caption on the video read, “Articles even came out saying she ate Han Jeong-seon and gave it a harsh review.”

Lee Su-hyun had previously attracted attention after sharing her honest opinion about the rice cakes on her own YouTube channel. After trying them, she said, “They are tasty, but I’m not sure they’re worth standing in line for three hours. All the fruit is delicious. They use good ingredients, and the rice cake skin is chewy. The filling and yogurt are also added in the right proportions, but the problem is that they weren’t all that special.”

Lee Su-hyun explained, “My fans know that I don’t like sweet things. I’m not particularly fond of rice cakes either, but I still wanted to try them at least once. They were delicious when I tried them, but I wouldn’t say they offered an incredibly new or unique flavor.” She continued, “All the staff members really enjoyed them. It upset me because that wasn’t the impression people got.” She then apologized directly to the brand, saying, “I’m sorry, Han Jeong-seon. That’s not what I meant.” Her trainer added, “They should watch this and rewrite the articles to say she gave the rice cakes a positive review.”

Meanwhile, AKMU is a sibling duo consisting of Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun. The pair won Season 2 of SBS’s K-pop Star in 2012 before making their debut in the music industry. They are known for hit songs including “200%,” “Give Love,” “Last Goodbye,” and “Dinosaur.” In April, they released their fourth full-length album, Flowering.
