Ailee is opening a new chapter with a five-member band she personally planned and produced, pairing the first single “Feelings” with a November concert in Seoul.
SBS reported that the modern-rock single was scheduled for release on Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. Korean time. The project brings Ailee together with four instrumentalists, giving fans a new ensemble to follow alongside her familiar voice.
The lineup was formed through a recruitment process held on social media in February. According to SBS, hundreds competed, and Ailee personally reviewed applicants’ videos. The selection process was shared through her Ailee Music YouTube channel.
SBS’s English report identifies the members and roles as follows:
| Member | Role |
|---|---|
| Ailee | Vocals |
| Ok Sung-min (옥성민) | Leader and drums |
| Bae Jae-yong (배재용) | Guitar |
| Lee Hyun-sung (이현성) | Keyboards |
| Ahn Sung-joo (안성주) | Bass |
The lineup places Ailee at the microphone while Ok takes the designated leadership role.
For listeners, the change offers a reason to pay attention to the musicians around the vocal performance. Guitar, keyboards, bass and drums provide distinct parts to follow as the group develops its sound. The modern-rock description supplies an initial direction, while the music itself will give fans a fuller introduction.
The band also has a confirmed live date. NOL’s official listing schedules I AM : WE ARE for Saturday, Nov. 21, at 6 p.m. at NOL Theater Hapjeong’s Tongyang Life Hall in Seoul. The performance is listed at 90 minutes, with admission for ages 11 and older.
General booking was scheduled to open Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. KST, equivalent to 7 a.m. Eastern. Readers checking afterward should consult the event page for current availability.
The venue offers two different viewing arrangements: first-floor standing tickets and second-floor reserved seats. Both are listed at 135,000 won. Fans who prefer an assigned seat should select the reserved section rather than assume every ticket includes seating.
Wheelchair-space reservations are handled by telephone through NOL Theater Hapjeong, according to the listing. The page also provides an international-user link for fans booking from abroad. Those travelers should review the applicable booking and ticket-collection instructions before arranging transportation or accommodation.
For longtime fans, the project offers another way to follow Ailee’s musical interests. For newcomers, the first single and the named lineup provide a straightforward introduction. Listening does not require an immediate comparison with her earlier work; the band has room to build its own identity.
“Feelings” is the starting point for that introduction, while the Seoul concert gives interested listeners a date to explore the project live. The appeal lies in discovering what these five musicians create together.
