On October 15, Kim Sun Ah took to social media to express her longing for Sulli, whom she described as someone who had been like a soulmate to her. “It has already been seven years since a friend who felt like my soulmate left this world,” she wrote. “The world without her still feels as though it is slowly drying up. But after I brought home Blin, the cat she raised like her own daughter, a small light returned to my life. Now, that little one is my daughter, my reason to keep going, my love, and my happiness.”
Kim Sun Ah also recalled Sulli as someone who naturally brought brightness and warmth to everyone around her. “She was always a person who sparkled and shone,” the actress shared. “She didn’t need to show off or do anything extraordinary. Just being near her made everything around her feel brighter.” She continued, “Even her smallest words, facial expressions, and the ordinary moments we spent together have stayed with me for a long time. Perhaps that’s why the emptiness she left behind could never be explained by sadness alone. It wasn’t simply that I had lost a friend. It felt as though one of the lights in my world had gone out.”

Following Sulli’s death, Kim Sun Ah adopted the late singer’s pet cat, Goblin, affectionately known as Blin. Since then, the actress has continued caring for the animal, finding a meaningful connection to her departed friend through the pet they both love.
Reflecting on the bond that remains, Kim Sun Ah wrote, “My friend may be gone, but the love she left behind has not disappeared. That love remains beside me, living on through Blin.” She concluded her heartfelt message with words addressed directly to Sulli: “My friend, it has been seven years since you left, but I still remember you. And today, I continue living alongside the little one you loved. I carry the light you left behind in my heart, and I continue to cherish and love that light.”

Meanwhile, Sulli began her entertainment career as a child actress in the 2005 SBS historical drama Ballad of Seodong. She later debuted as a member of the K-pop girl group f(x) in 2009, gaining widespread recognition for her distinctive charm, talent, and vibrant personality. Tragically, she passed away on October 14, 2019, at the age of 25, leaving fans and fellow entertainers devastated.
