He says he wants to experience love.
Dating can be hard for regular people, and it is only made harder when you are someone in the entertainment industry. Idols have often been placed under “dating bans,” while those who are open about their relationships have faced backlash from fans.
Recently, a former idol showed just how hard dating can be even after stepping out of the K-Pop world.
Kia recently launched a unique ad in the form of a dating program titled “Heart Road 321 km.” During the program, the pair will go on a blind date with the only thing being set in stone being the distance travelled.

The show begins with a young woman named Seeun going to pick up her blind date, a handsome young man who introduces himself as Ryu Junmin.
Junmin made his debut as a member of ATBO in July 2022 after ranking fourth place in the survival show The Origin – A, B, or What? ATBO remained active until December 2025, when their disbandment was announced.

While talking about his experience with romance, Junmin admits he’s never been on a blind date, but was wanting to experience love.
The pair first went out to eat for their first meal, later visiting a grocery store and heading to a home to prepare food. All the while, the two chatted, seeing if there was any sort of connection.
At the end of the day, the two are finally allowed to reveal certain details abut themselves, including their ages and occupations. When Junmin mentioned his idol past after stating he was currently preparing to become an actor, Seeun reacted with shock, appearing to dislike this about Junmin.
The episode then ended there, appearing to lead into the next.
