A BTS member’s candid moment from a recent concert has become the source of massive backlash against him.
Recently, a clip showing BTS member V playing around on stage with a plastic ball became a hot topic. The singer was seen kicking the ball at such an angle that it flew to the standing ection of the audience. Fortunately the ball bounced off the barricade, stopping short of hitting an audience member.
Though V appeared to be jesting with fans in the moment, the clip has drawn major flak from netizens. People primarily took issue with the lack of apology on V’s part after almost hitting the fan.

However, many fans defended V, arguing that he was simply playing around with a ball that was likely given to him by fans in the first place. Some also compared the incident with other idols throwing plushies or t-shirts toward the crowd, arguing that the flimsy ball wouldn’t have hurt the fan either.
