A K-Pop idol has announced her pregnancy and marriage to an actor, earning many congratulations from netizens.
On August 24, a message beginning with, “Everyone, I’m getting married,” was written on social media by Yang Jiwon, originally from the girl group SPICA.
She said, “At first, it didn’t feel real, but day by day it’s starting to sink in.” She added, “Originally, we planned to marry early next year, but thankfully, we were blessed with new life. I will become a mother in my forties next year. So we decided to bring the wedding forward a bit.”
Yang Ji Won shared her happiness, saying, “Starting a family has long been one of my biggest wishes, and finally, I’ve been granted a home with the person I love.”
She continued, “In some ways, we are very different, but in other ways, we have a lot in common. He helps me see things I hadn’t before, and loving him helps me grow into a more mature person. Above all, I feel I have come to know God more deeply and closely, and my desire to live together in faith grows with him.”
