BTS’s V has revealed glimpses of his relaxed everyday life in Toronto, Canada, prompting fans to revisit photos of him from 2019. When his appearances from 2019 and 2026 are placed side by side, the seven-year gap seems almost impossible to notice.
V recently shared a short video on his social media showing himself enjoying some downtime in Toronto with his BTS members.
There were no flashy stage outfits or elaborate styling. Wearing a black T-shirt and sporting short hair, V was seen casually walking through the city.
Fans were reminded of seven years ago. In May 2019, V had shared a photo through BTS’s official social media account, showing himself standing beneath a blue sky. At the time, he was also dressed casually in a black T-shirt with short hair.
Placed side by side, the two images look almost like a déjà vu. V in the 2019 photo and V walking through Toronto in 2026 share similar hairstyles, outfits and an effortless overall vibe. Although fans know that seven years have passed, it is difficult to spot the passage of time simply by looking at the two photos.
Born in 1995, V is now 30 years old. Compared with seven years ago, he has developed a more mature aura while retaining some of his youthful charm. However, his distinctive features and clear, fresh appearance remain unchanged.
While V enjoys some downtime in Toronto, the entire city is being transformed by BTS fever.
BTS will hold their “ARIRANG” world tour concerts at Rogers Stadium in Toronto on August 22 and 23 (local time).
The City of Toronto has officially declared the two concert dates “BTS Weekend.” Part of Yonge Street in the North York area has even been temporarily given the name “BTS Boulevard.” The “TORONTO” sign at Nathan Phillips Square is also being illuminated in purple, the color symbolizing BTS.
