Actress Yoon Eun-hye surprised viewers after revealing that she has not dated for 14 years, sharing her honest thoughts about love and relationships during her appearance on SBS’s “My Little Old Boy” on June 28.
The actress, known for her timeless beauty and witty personality, opened up about her long single life while also reflecting on her past and her Baby V.O.X groupmates.
During the episode, Yoon Eun-hye confirmed that her last relationship was when she was 29 years old. When asked about the long gap, she stated clearly, “I haven’t dated since I was 29 years old,” adding that she has not had any relationships since then, AllKPop reported.
Her straightforward answer surprised the studio, with some light teasing from the hosts adding humor to the moment.
She also addressed the public attention around Baby V.O.X’s reunion, which took place 14 years after their last group activity.
The reunion video reportedly gained over 12 million views, something Yoon described as unexpected and overwhelming. She said she was grateful for the strong response and noted that even the husbands of her fellow members showed support and interest in the group’s activities.
Yoon Eun-hye Shares Funny Take on Being Single
Yoon Eun-hye then shared a more personal and playful confession, saying that the married lives of her Baby V.O.X members have strangely affected her own feelings about dating.
According to TheChosun, she explained that her “dating cells,” as she jokingly called them, were being “revived” by observing the affectionate relationships of her groupmates’ husbands. She described the husbands as very attentive and caring toward their wives, often visiting practice sessions and staying close during rehearsals.
While she found their devotion admirable, she also joked that they can be overly affectionate at times, even filming unflattering but “cute” moments of their wives. One example she mentioned involved Kan Mi-yeon’s husband, who would show playful photos of his wife despite her complaints.
Yoon Eun-hye said moments like these made her wonder if being single might actually be easier at times.
The conversation also turned lighthearted when she mentioned Baby V.O.X member Lee Hee-jin, saying with laughter, “Honestly, there’s someone who’s more urgent than me. It’s not my turn yet,” which drew laughter from the studio.
