According to a September 22 report by MyDaily, Yoo Jae Suk arrived at a location near Jongno, Seoul, that day to film SBS’s Whenever Possible. However, just before cameras were set to roll, he informed the production team that he was feeling unwell, and the shoot was ultimately called off. The decision was reportedly made shortly after he had arrived and greeted the staff.
According to an official, Yoo Jae Suk was suffering from a cold, body aches, and a high fever that day. Despite feeling ill, he still made his way to the filming location, but his condition did not improve, and the scheduled shoot was apparently postponed to a later date. A staff member recalled, “He already looked unwell when he arrived, so everyone was concerned. Yoo Jae Suk apologized to the staff and asked for their understanding.”
It reportedly marked the first time since his debut that Yoo Jae Suk had canceled a shoot on the same day because of his health. In 2021, he canceled a recording of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block in advance after testing positive for COVID-19, but he had never previously stopped a scheduled shoot on location because he was feeling unwell. Given his long-standing reputation for professionalism and rarely missing or being late for filming, the sudden cancellation has drawn even more attention.
