The singer has various allegations against him.
A recent Instagram post has fans speculating about a possible new TWICE collaboration, but the reaction has been anything but positive.

American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth recently shared a post expressing his excitement to play his first stadium show in South Korea this weekend, ending the caption with a sentence in Korean: “There’s a surprise.”
Fans soon spotted that Jane Kim, an A&R manager and project coordinator at JYP Entertainment known for working closely with TWICE, had liked the post. Puth also shared the post on his Instagram Story with the song “MEEEEEE,” Nayeon’s solo song from TEN: The Story Goes On.

Put together, the clues have many speculating that the singer could be collaborating with TWICE or Nayeon herself — a possibility that has sparked fierce backlash among fans given the controversial allegations of against Charlie Puth.

In June 2025, British singer Jade Thirlwall of Little Mix revealed on a radio show that Puth is the one person she would refuse to collaborate with. She did not elaborate on why, but many have speculated that Puth openly pursued her while she was in a public relationship with musician Jed Elliott.
A month later, American actress and singer Bella Thorne accused Puth of lying and starting an online “hate train” against her because she refused to sleep with him. On top of his controversies around potentially harassing women, Puth has also been labeled a Zionist over his social media activity following the October 7 attacks.

Given his history, fans are now slamming JYP Entertainment for potentially having TWICE work with a “creep.” Some have accused the agency of intentionally trying to tarnish the group’s reputation, and many have already announced they will boycott any song released by the two.
charlie puth is know for being a massive creep towards the women he works with, we do NOT want that collab yall 😭

I’m a TWICE fan and I would give my LIFE for them, but I have no intention of listening to that collaboration even once if it turns out to be true.
Just as I criticized [BTS]’s RM and J-Hope over the Chris Brown situation, KNOW that I will criticize TWICE and especially JYP Entertainment if this turns out to be true.

So far, no official statement about the possible collaboration has been released. Back in 2024, labelmates Stray Kids also came under fire for working with Charlie Puth.
