On September 26, Jimin uploaded several photos to her social media account with the caption, “Chuseok in Hong Kong.”
In the photos, Jimin appeared with voluminous, wavy blonde hair, pairing a black corset-style top with short knitted bottoms. She layered several pearl necklaces and struck a variety of poses for the camera. In particular, the numerous tattoos extending from her shoulders down her arms and wrists attracted attention.
The following day, September 27, Kwon Mina posted a lengthy message on social media in which she once again referred to the bullying she says she experienced in the past. She wrote, “Toward the end, my voice became quieter and I couldn’t control my facial expressions well, so I was put to sleep with medication,” adding, “From your point of view, you must have hated that you couldn’t torment me anymore.”
She continued, “If it had been one major incident 11 years ago, I could forget it. But being subjected to it for 11 years is different.” Although Kwon Mina did not directly mention Jimin by name in the post, her remarks have been widely interpreted as another reference to the bullying allegations she previously made about her time in AOA. However, Jimin’s side has not been confirmed to have responded to the specific claims contained in this latest post.
Kwon Mina left AOA in 2019 and claimed in 2020 that she had been bullied for an extended period by Jimin, who was the group’s leader at the time. Jimin subsequently left the group. In June last year, Jimin also attended the wedding of AOA member Im Do Hwa, formerly known as Chanmi, where she was seen together with other members of the group.
