Several Stray Kids members reportedly fell during a rainy performance at Tokyo National Stadium on Aug. 29, while Bang Chan sustained a minor cut and Lee Know later visited a hospital.

The concert marked the opening of the Japanese leg of Stray Kids’ RUN IT world tour. According to Aju Press, the group performed at Tokyo National Stadium, also known as MUFG Stadium, on Aug. 29 and 30. JYP Entertainment said Stray Kids were the first foreign male artist to hold a solo concert at the venue.
During the Aug. 29 performance, Lee Know appeared to slip while performing “Ceremony,” landing on his upper body. He tried to stand several times before returning to one knee, and Bang Chan approached to check on him. Lee Know appeared to fall again during “Run It,” landing on his back and holding the area as he moved across the stage.
Koreaboo reported that Changbin and Felix also fell during other songs. Some concertgoers said Seungmin slipped as well. The stage appeared wet from the rain, raising concerns about whether the members could perform safely.
Bang Chan was reportedly left with a cut on his arm after falling. He later told fans that the injury was small. Lee Know also reassured fans after returning from the hospital.
“I went to the hospital and came back,” Lee Know wrote. “I’m fine. I’ll probably be fine after I get some sleep.”
The members’ updates eased some concern, but fans criticized the apparent stage conditions and called for better safety precautions. No detailed medical report on the reported injuries was available.

Despite the incidents, the Tokyo shows began a major Japan tour expected to draw about 370,000 people across seven concerts. The remaining dates are scheduled for Vantelin Dome Nagoya on Sept. 5-6, Kyocera Dome Osaka on Sept. 19-20 and Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on Oct. 24.
The performance also came as Stray Kids continued to post strong U.S. chart results. Soompi, citing Billboard, reported Aug. 30 that the group’s mini album “THIS & THAT” ranked No. 8 on the Billboard 200 in its third consecutive week in the top 10. The album earned 48,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending Aug. 27, marking the group’s strongest third-week result on the chart.
“THIS & THAT” debuted at No. 1 and ranked No. 3 in its second week. It became Stray Kids’ ninth Billboard 200 No. 1 album, which JYP said was the most by any group this century.
Stray Kids are also scheduled to headline Rock in Rio in Brazil on Sept. 11 and appear at the group-led “STRAYCITY” festival series in Latin America later in September.
