According to a report by TenAsia on October 8, Song Ji Ho and Kim So Ri will hold their wedding ceremony on the evening of October 23 at Samcheonggak in Seoul. Although the couple previously announced their marriage plans, they had not disclosed the exact date or location of the ceremony.
On October 6, Song Ji Ho’s agency, Inyeon Entertainment, announced that the couple had decided to marry after building a strong foundation of trust throughout their long relationship. That same day, Song Ji Ho shared a heartfelt message on social media, writing, “We have stood by each other’s side for a long time, supporting one another through both happy and difficult moments while growing together. Now, we want to become each other’s closest supporters and spend the rest of our lives together as husband and wife.” The actor also revealed that he had kept messages from fans over the years, often rereading them for comfort during difficult times. He added, “I will continue working hard to become a better person and a better actor, and I will do my best to live a good life.”
Kim So Ri also personally announced the happy news, saying, “This October, I will be marrying the person with whom I want to spend the rest of my life.” She recalled once writing down the qualities she hoped to find in a future spouse. Looking back, she realized that many of those wishes closely resembled the man she is about to marry. Describing her fiancé, she said she had found someone who appreciates the joy of simply being together, knows how to be grateful for even the smallest things, and makes her life more beautiful and peaceful.
Song Ji Ho recently played Hong Dae Il, the older brother of Hong Eun Jo (Nam Ji Hyun), in the KBS2 drama To My Beloved Thief, which concluded in February. He also gained recognition for portraying Im Geum, the older brother of Im Sol (Kim Hye Yoon), in tvN’s Lovely Runner, and Seo Jung Min, the son of Cha Jung Sook (Uhm Jung Hwa), in JTBC’s Doctor Cha. He made his acting debut in the 2013 film Friend: The Great Legacy. Meanwhile, Kim So Ri appeared as Han Sol, a band vocalist, in the Korean-Indian Netflix film Made in Korea, released in March. She debuted in 2016 as a member of the female duo CocoSori before pursuing a solo music career. She has also been active in the group Real Girls Project and appeared in programs including MIXNINE, Somebody 2, and The IDOLM@STER.KR.
