He did it firmly but politely.
THE BOYZ‘s Eric has directly addressed sasaeng fans who have allegedly been contacting him through his personal phone number, asking them to stop once and for all.
Eric recently sent a series of messages to fans, explaining that he had held back from speaking about the issue for a long time but could no longer ignore how severe it had become.

“There’s actually something I want to say. I’m sorry to bring something like this up here when even just sharing good things with THE Bs isn’t enough, but I want to ask you not to contact me personally.”
He then revealed the shocking scale of the unwanted contact he has been receiving.
“I’ve been holding this in for a long time before saying this, but it’s gotten too severe… I get 20 or 30 people contacting me personally throughout the entire day. I don’t reply anyway and just leave all of them, so please refrain from doing it. I’m only going to say this exactly once.”
Eric then clarified that fans who genuinely wanted to send him supportive messages still had an appropriate place to do so.
“I really appreciate everyone who wants to say nice things to me, but please leave them here!! I read all of the messages THE Bs send me through Fromm. Got it?”

Eric explained that the constant influx of private messages was not merely annoying him, but was beginning to interfere with his work.
“The reason I’m saying this is because KakaoTalk messages keep piling up so much that it’s starting to interfere with me checking my work-related KakaoTalk messages. And don’t call me when I’m sleeping. The end.”
The messages drew attention for how directly Eric addressed the invasion of his privacy, asking fans to respect the boundary between official fan communication and his private line.
