Representing Spain, Elisabeth Reynés was crowned Miss World Europe and finished as the first runner-up at Miss World 2026.
Born in 2004 and originally from Mallorca in Spain’s Balearic Islands, Reynés claimed the first runner-up title at the Miss World 2026 grand final held in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, on the evening of September 5.
The beauty queen graduated in Accommodation Management and is currently studying Hotel Management at the University of the Balearic Islands. She speaks Spanish, Catalan, and English, while also learning Swedish and German.
Reynés has also completed the International Baccalaureate program, which includes creative, physical, and community service activities.
Beyond academics, she enjoys graphic design, fashion, painting, music, dancing, baking, and traveling. She also plays the viola.

In this round, contestants present their perspectives, personal stories, and social initiatives to the judges, making it one of the competition’s segments that emphasizes communication skills and critical thinking.
For the talent competition, she combined sports dancing with elements of Spanish culture and music, including a performance featuring the viola. The combination allowed her to showcase her performance skills, artistic personality, and cultural roots at the same time.
Another highlight of Reynés’s journey was her social project focused on the marine environment. The initiative aims to reconnect people with the ocean and encourage communities to participate in conservation, environmental education, and volunteer activities, turning environmental awareness into concrete action.
While preparing for Miss World, she also participated in community activities in Mallorca. In July, Reynés worked with the organization Venbalears on a donation campaign to provide essential supplies to Venezuelan families while encouraging members of the community to get involved.
Beyond her pageant achievements, Elisabeth Reynés’s family background has also drawn attention. According to Miss World, she is the great-granddaughter of Swedish Count Carl Gustaf von Rosen (1909–1977), a pilot who participated in humanitarian efforts during the Biafran War in Nigeria. He transported food, medicine, and essential supplies to civilians in conflict-affected areas.
Reynés’s grandmother was a countess who spoke eight languages and once worked as a nanny in Paris for Baker, the famous American-born artist.
Reynés has repeatedly emphasized that she wants to be recognized for who she is and the values she stands for rather than her title or family background. In her view, the most meaningful part of her family legacy lies not in aristocratic titles but in values such as responsibility, solidarity, and service to the community. These are also the principles she hopes to carry forward through her social initiatives.
