Actor Kwak Si Yang and Lovelyz member Yoo Jiae have officially announced their marriage, and the two shared their feelings directly with fans through handwritten letters.
On September 3rd, Kwak Si Yang posted a letter on his social media account, announcing, “I have found a precious person with whom I want to spend my life.”
He continued, “We promised to walk through life together based on trust and love for each other. During difficult times, we will be each other’s strong support, and in joyful moments, we will laugh together and create a warm home.”
To the fans, he expressed gratitude, saying, “I will work hard to show you a more mature side of me as I start a family, and as an actor, to bring you great projects and performances.”
Yoo Jiae also announced the new beginning, saying, “I have found someone I care for, rely on, and want to share my future with.”
She especially apologized for fans learning the news through articles first, saying, “I’m sorry. Because this is such a precious story to me, I wanted to share it more carefully, but I couldn’t do that, so I feel heavy-hearted.”
She asked fans kindly, “I would be truly happy if you warmly celebrate this new beginning of mine with good hearts.”
The couple has been dating for about a year and plans to hold a private wedding in November, inviting only close family and friends from both sides.
