On April 30, Lim Ji Yeon appeared on the YouTube channel Jo Hyun Ah’s Ordinary Thursday Night, where she openly talked about what she hopes to do during her break from work.
During the conversation, Lim Ji Yeon shared that removing her eyeliner tattoo is at the top of her list. She explained, “I got a semi-permanent tattoo when I was 20. Back then, I didn’t really know how to do makeup, so I thought it would be convenient.” She added that she had the procedure done near her school with a friend, but joked that it feels more like a permanent tattoo since it still hasn’t faded and looks very dark.

In response, host Jo Hyun Ah asked whether the tattoo needs to be removed depending on her roles. Lim Ji Yeon replied, “For historical dramas or scenes where tattoos aren’t appropriate, I usually have to cover or remove it.” She also mentioned that laser removal is possible but comes with noticeable swelling, requiring a long recovery period. “I haven’t been able to take enough time off, but I plan to do it as soon as filming ends,” she said.

Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon is preparing to return to the small screen with the upcoming SBS drama My Royal Nemesis, set to premiere in May.
