She will be directed by Lee Haein.
In one of the most unexpected career moves of 2026, renowned dancer and choreographer Audrey Lane has officially been announced as a K-pop trainee.
Best known as a member of world-famous dance crew JAM REPUBLIC and for her breakout appearance on Street Woman Fighter 2, Audrey is now preparing for an entirely new chapter in the entertainment industry.
Rather than continuing solely as a professional dancer, Audrey has reportedly joined a relatively new entertainment company to train as an idol. She will be under the direction of Lee Haein, former trainee who later styled and directed KISS OF LIFE‘s debut and more. Lee formed her own agency, all my anecdotes, and will soon launch her own group.

The announcement immediately shocked fans, many of whom never imagined the acclaimed choreographer would pursue a K-Pop debut. Audrey built an international following through her powerful performances on Street Woman Fighter 2, where JAM REPUBLIC quickly became one of the show’s most popular crews.

Her charisma, stage presence, and dance ability earned praise from both viewers and fellow dancers, making her one of the standout performers of the season. Given her established reputation, fans were surprised to learn that she would be starting over as a trainee. She was revealed in the company’s audition call.
The news quickly spread across social media, with many calling it one of the biggest plot twists of the year.
