On the August 7 episode of MBN and Channel S’s variety show Jun Hyun Moo’s Plan 4, Kim Min Ha joined Jun Hyun Moo and KwakTube as their “food friend” during their culinary trip to Incheon.
During the episode, Jun Hyun Moo told Kim Min Ha, “Do you know what comes up when you search for ‘Kim Min Ha’? ‘Freckles.’ I think they’re so charming.” He added that he initially thought her freckles had been drawn on for a role.
Kim Min Ha said she had never been bothered by her freckles, even when she was younger. When Jun Hyun Moo asked whether she had ever wanted clearer-looking skin during more sensitive periods of her youth, she firmly replied that she had “never thought about it even once.”
As Jun Hyun Moo continued praising her freckles as one of her attractive features, Kim Min Ha explained that she only became aware of how distinctive they were after entering the entertainment industry. “I realized they were something unusual after I started this work. When I heard people say that so often at first, I wondered, ‘Why is this a problem?’” she recalled.
Kim Min Ha also agreed with Jun Hyun Moo when he said it was fortunate that she had never removed her freckles, pointing out that they could always be covered with makeup when needed depending on the role.
