Given how fast the K-Pop industry moves and the number of groups debuting each year, popularity can vary from group to group and even from idol to idol. Still, many idols continue pursuing their dreams, even when their growth is slower than some might expect.
Recently, an idol’s low event attendance gained attention online.
In 2019, the survival show Produce X 101 aired, showing the formation of the short-lived X1.
As with other survival shows, many of the trainees stood out in their own ways and were able to pursue their own debuts after being eliminated from this show. This includes Yun Junghwan, who represented Brand New Music, and made it to episode 8 before being eliminated.
The same year, Junghwan debuted as a member of the boy group, BCD, which remained active until 2023, when their contracts with the agency expired. In 2024, Junghwan made his solo debut under the name Luven.
Luven recently returned with his first full album this year, titled Made By.
The idol has also had live events, one of which was shared on X, going viral with over five million views and expressing sadness over the smaller crowd.

Others, however, took the opportunity to remind that not everyone starts somewhere and encourage people to check out his music. People also shared that he has worked on songs for other people, including TREASURE and ONEUS.
