Jungkook is drawing attention after speaking honestly about marriage during a recent livestream with fans on Weverse LIVE.
On June 28, the BTS singer went live shortly after the group’s concert in Madrid, Spain, where BTS opened the European leg of its “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’.” During the broadcast, Jungkook shared updates about the concert, his health, and his future plans while chatting comfortably with fans.
As the livestream continued, fans repeatedly filled the comment section with messages asking him to marry them. According to IBT, Jungkook responded playfully at first, but later made his feelings clear.
“Please stop asking me to marry you,” he said with a laugh. “I have no plans to get married yet.”
The comment quickly spread across social media and Korean entertainment communities, especially because it came months after dating rumors linked Jungkook with Winter.
Last year, online users claimed Jungkook and Winter had matching dog-shaped tattoos placed in similar spots on their arms. Fans also pointed to similar fashion items, accessories, and alleged concert sightings as possible clues about a relationship. However, neither BTS’ agency nor Winter’s company officially confirmed or denied the rumors.
Jungkook Says ‘Ask Suga to Marry You’
Because of that silence, Jungkook’s recent comments about marriage immediately became a trending topic online. During the livestream, Jungkook also joked with fans as marriage comments continued appearing on screen.
“Ask Yoongi to marry you,” he teased, referring to fellow BTS member Suga. “Do ‘Yoon-gi marry me’.”
When another fan asked if Suga had plans to get married, Jungkook laughed again and replied, “I’ve never talked about getting married with Yoongi.”
Aside from the marriage discussion, Jungkook also reflected on BTS’ recent concert in Madrid. He thanked fans for supporting the show and admitted he had worried about the extreme heat before performing.
“The weather was extremely hot,” he shared, explaining that he is sensitive to heat and once collapsed during a performance in Chile because of high temperatures, Outlook reported.
Another part of the livestream also sparked fresh online speculation. In one moment, Jungkook appeared to smile while typing on his phone, leading fans to guess who he might have been messaging. Some believed he was texting BTS member V, while others linked the moment to Winter once again.
