Actor Jang Dong-yoon and actress Kim Seung-yoon are getting married this October after a long-term relationship. Jang Dong-yoon’s agency, BH Entertainment, confirmed the news on August 25, revealing that the couple will tie the knot in a private ceremony attended only by their immediate families.
According to BH Entertainment, Jang Dong-yoon, 34, and Kim Seung-yoon, 29, have been in a relationship for an extended period. The couple will reportedly hold their wedding ceremony in October in the form of a worship service. Only family members from both sides will be invited, making it an intimate and private occasion.
Jang Dong-yoon also personally addressed the news by sharing a handwritten letter on social media. In the letter, the actor reflected on how their relationship developed over time, explaining that spending many years together allowed them to discover and understand different sides of each other. He wrote that they had grown to understand and cherish each other more deeply and had decided to “be each other’s support” while building a fun and happy life together. Jang Dong-yoon also promised to continue working hard to show his best side as an actor while striving to become a more mature person.
Jang Dong-yoon and Kim Seung-yoon’s relationship is particularly notable because they have also collaborated professionally. Kim Seung-yoon made her acting debut in 2019 through ‘The Tale of Nokdu,’ the historical romantic drama starring Jang Dong-yoon. She subsequently appeared in projects including ‘For Eagle Brothers!’ and director Hong Sang-soo’s film ‘In Water.’ Their professional collaboration continued after Jang Dong-yoon expanded into filmmaking.
