Actress Hwang Jung-eum has once again openly mentioned her former boyfriend, SG Wannabe member Kim Yong-jun, with whom she was in a public relationship for nine years. She also confidently brought back memories of their time on the virtual marriage show We Got Married.
On October 31, Hwang Jung-eum shared an old selfie on her personal social media account, captioning it, “This is Jung-eum from We Got Married.”

The photo shows the actress looking youthful and fresh-faced. Dressed casually in a white short-sleeved T-shirt featuring a cute robot illustration with a red heart and a pair of white pants, she gazes at the camera with a faint smile.
The post attracted even more attention because it came shortly after Hwang Jung-eum directly mentioned her ex-boyfriend Kim Yong-jun. The two began dating in 2006 and appeared together as a real-life couple on MBC’s virtual marriage variety show We Got Married, where they enjoyed tremendous popularity. However, after nine years together, they ended their relationship in 2015.
Earlier last month, Hwang Jung-eum also made headlines for her relaxed attitude toward Kim Yong-jun while interacting with subscribers on her personal YouTube channel. Responding to one subscriber who cautiously asked, “This is a little sensitive, but I’m curious. Have you ever run into Yong-jun by chance since you broke up?”, she honestly replied, “Not even once. I kind of want to see Yong-jun too.”
She continued, “Anyway, Yong-jun is someone I have many good memories with now. If we ran into each other on the street, I could happily greet him.” Her candid remarks showed that she had no intention of hiding her past relationship.
The year after her breakup with Kim Yong-jun, Hwang Jung-eum married Lee Young-don, a former professional golfer, in 2016. The couple had two sons together, but ultimately went their separate ways last year.
